Samsung YP-S3 Fix found!!! Get your fix here!!

Get your Samsung yp-s3 fix here!!! :)

Iam a basic pc user, im in no way a tech. Last week I bought myself one of those flash new samsung yp-s3 mp3 players.
After I went home, plugged it into my laptop... there was the familiar sound when you plug in a usb product into the ports on pcs.. but the
yp-s3 was nowhere to be found, I tried unplugging and plugging ... still no luck! cripes! it wasnt working..even with the software that came with it in the packaging.
I decided to take it back in a few days.. in the meantime I was contend just to borrow a friends usb fm trasmitter and listen to my mp3's on my laptop via the yp-s3's radio's receiver.. Ive scoured the net for a few fixes , all which contained some great info on finding a way to fix your yp-s3.
Here are links to them:
 Kudos to Goodger @http://www.techsupportforum.com/hardware-support/removable-media-drives/76730-portable-media-device-not-recognized-xp.html and

Ive included the above links in the event that they may prove helpful to some samsung yp-s3 users out there.

Now heres what I did to get my yp-s3 to show up on me laptop:
The steps I took:

1. Go into System=Hardware=device manager=Universal serial bus controllers=usb root hub *if your mp3 player is plugged into any of the hubs.. it should show up(as an mtp device even w/out software installed) in usb root hub properties=Power=attached devices then , still in the usb root hub properties, click on Power Management and put a tick on "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"=press ok then voila my Samsung magically appeared!!!!

Hope i have been of much help to you!
Cheers!!

My laptop specs:
